San Blas Island, Panama

San Blas, Panama

San Blas is known as Panama's gold, emerald and coral necklace. It was known for its chain of 365 islands along the Caribbean Coast from the Gulf of San Blas to the Colombian border. 49 of them are inhabited by the fiercely independent Kuna Indians.

I've fallen in love with the beauty of this island while I was browsing for some beautiful spots of the world. Except for the fact that it's white sand, the clear water and the coconut trees gives a vibe of a tropical paradise.

According to a contributor on a review, snorkling is absolutely fantastic with many corals and lots of fish. But it is also advised that you bring your own gear because these are not always available on the accommodations there. In addition, diving is also not allowed.

Because of its enchanting beauty, I have added this on my list of places to visit before I die. Who knows, I can see this place in few years?
